On June 19, our very own El Presidente, Jesus Garcia, will speak to us about a little known way to invest in real estate, Note Investing. When people think of real estate investing they usually think of flipping houses or landlording. But, there is another way to invest in real estate without having to worry about tenants, toilets, termites, or trash. Join our meeting on June 19 to learn how to be the bank with note investing.
From June 30 - July 4, our club will raise funds for our charity causes by staffing several shifts at a fireworks booth on Blue Ravine and E. Natoma in Folsom. Thanks to all of our club members for volunteering your precious time during our Fourth of July holiday season.
Last week we held a Club Assembly at Lisa Ferro's office and Bryan Bjorge brought us a delicious lunch from Sutter Street Taqueria. Jesus gave us a summary of his trip to the Rotary International Convention 2019 in Hamburg and we discussed how we talk about Rotary to our friends to get them interested in joining. We will have more of these conversations in future meetings.
Lisa Parks Ferro is the founder and owner of the premier mortgage brokerage in Folsom, The Blue Waters Group. She is always first to raise her hand to lead or help out in all of our projects. She provides the venue for all of our board meetings and, most recently, hosted our Club Assembly since we could not meet at our regular spot due to renovations. Lisa is the heart of our club. Lisa, we deeply appreciate all you do for us and our community.
